Run. Walk. Explore.

If bridges could talk, what kind of stories would they tell? New York’s Mario M. Cuomo Bridge wasn’t just built to achieve new heights (and lengths). It was built to educate and inspire. We helped orchestrate the 3.5-mile shared-use path, and the brand surrounding it, to evoke the movement and progress of the Thruway. We designed all facets of the place including signage, sculpture and interactive displays that tell the story of the Hudson, allowing walkers, runners and bikers to immerse themselves in the river’s rich history while they get a little exercise.

The path was made a vibrant blue to stand out, adding a sense of joy and energy to the experience. This striking color choice invites people to engage with the space, making the journey across the bridge feel more welcoming and lively, while still complementing the surrounding environment.
