When the team behind what is now called PlayaRaya first came to us, they were in the foundational stages of bringing a revolutionary idea to life—an ultra-accessible splash and sport play space. They came to us needing a brand and a name that could carry them from fundraising, to community integration, to energizing their audience about the healing power of play. With such a powerful vision for the future of recreation already established, it was time to build an identity that holistically represented everything PlayaRaya stands for.

A recreational space, built for all, focused on seamless integration for adults and children of all abilities—what could be better? So that everyone feels welcome to laugh, enjoy, and have fun. So that everyone can be inspired by, and feel connected to, the healing power of play. That’s what this brand needed to exude at every touchpoint.

The promise of universal play is only as successful as its reach, which is why the PlayaRaya brand needed to set a new standard: a transformative experience of joy, wellness, and self-expression. Its design elements are at once playful and as accessible as the park itself.
