We are thrilled to announce that this fall we’ve added three new faces to the J2 studio! In just a week, we welcomed Jake Fried, Maddie Kleypas, and Jessica Jenkins to the studio. It’s an exciting time here as our team continues to grow, adding new skills, ideas, and personalities to our already talented team. More on Jake, Maddie, and Jessica below…
Jake Fried, Marketing Coordinator
Jake is a doer. He focuses on business development efforts, estimating key deliverables, timelines, and costs to fit our clients’ needs. He also oversees our marketing and social media efforts to keep J2 top of mind locally and nationally. Jake views branding and marketing as a way for companies to reach their full potential, and he loves working with organizations that are in the business of doing good. He is a clear communicator, and our clients know that they can come to him to find a solution to their challenges. Born and raised in New York City, Jake graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Marketing & Communications. Before joining the J2 team, he was an advertising sales assistant at Esquire magazine.
Maddie Kleypas, Junior Account Manager
Maddie delivers outstanding customer service to our clients and partners while working with the internal team to keep the J2 engine running efficiently. Most days, you can find her creating project timelines, meeting with our designers, scheduling presentations, or communicating with clients. She thrives working at the intersection of the creative and the strategic worlds, and uses her keen organizational and people skills to help our clients move their organizations forward.
Maddie graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Communications and Consumer Psychology. Before joining J2, she was a communications and marketing assistant at the Fels School of Government at Penn.
Jessica Jenkins, Communications Strategist
Jessica is creative, passionate, and curious—all traits that serve her well in her role as Strategist at J2. She works with the J2 team to conduct research and develop robust communication plans for our clients. Jessica helps organizations think strategically and holistically about their communications and how to best connect with audiences. By focusing on measurable outcomes, she aligns vision with timeline and capacity, ensuring that messaging and communication strategies are ambitious and achievable.
Jessica has an extensive background in nonprofit communications and design. She graduated with a B.F.A. in Illustration and M.A. in Museum Communication from the University of the Arts, where she is an adjunct professor and lecturer in the Museum Studies Graduate Program. She was previously the Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at the Delaware Art Museum and Director of Communications at Woodmere Art Museum. She’s held positions on the Board of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums, the Chris White Community Development Corporation, and the Brandywine Valley Museums and Gardens Alliance.
